You CAN have password protected directories. You can do this via any number of simple Java applets or simple CGI scripts which are available as free downloads all over the Web. In this way, you can control exactly which files and directories are password protected, when they are, what user names and passwords are valid and you can change these parameters any time you want - you do not have to ask We to change them or do this for you!
